Le Temps recently published an article by journalist Paula Dupraz-Dobias on the challenges of formalising gold production. The report draws on her visit earlier this year to Minera Artesanal San Luis (Marsal), an SBG-accredited mine in Peru.

The article highlights both the opportunities and the complexities of responsible gold production in the region, as well as Marsal's experience in joining the SBG programme.
